Reduce, reuse, recycle

Even though I use discarded aluminum cans to make my wall pins, which is a step in trying to reduce, reuse, and recycle what would otherwise be refuse, there are still scraps of aluminum that often go unused.

It was hard to look at a box of “scraps” like this and think of it as something to be tossed away as worthless.

So, inspiration struck, and I decided to put some of these aluminum strips inside clear, plastic ball-shaped ornaments. The kids and I think they turned into something lovely. They are available for purchase in the Transcendental Treasures Etsy shop for $6 each. There are only 10 available this year, so get yours while you can!
